Privacy Statement

We collect personal information from you, including information about your:

  • name
  • contact information
  • location
  • interactions with us
  • billing information

We collect your personal information in order to:

  • give clients legal advice and representation

Besides our staff, we share this information with:

  • others directly related to a transaction or dispute in order to represent clients

Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter contact or credit details we’ll be unable to enter into contractual terms of engagement with you.

We will hold your information securely and in addition to our obligations under the Privacy Act 1993 we also have an obligation of confidentiality under the Lawyers and Conveyancers (Conduct and Client Care) Rules 2008.  Generally we will hold your information for a minimum of 7 years and a maximum of 10 years unless we consider the information to still be relevant (such as a Will or Enduring Power of Attorney) in which case we will hold that information indefinitely.
